Most people have experienced how it is to be talked over - sometimes quite inadvertently - and to let whatever it was they wanted to say slide away into silence. This short film is about the determination and self-belief it takes to rescue those ideas from oblivion, and demand that they be heard. We turned to the Slavic tones of Shostakovich and Doctor Zhivago to create a melodic score that speaks of struggle and perseverance, strumming mandolins and squeezing accordions, just hoping to be heard above the fray.
